"I have been going to PNTSDF for...... 6 years now. This was my 6th. And for 4 of those 6 I have been in the senior category. Competition has been the highlight of my square dance year for each of those 6 years, but I think this year was the best I have ever had. Our 2 squares became really good friends, both individually and with Inter-square-lly. Haha, i couldn't find the right word so I made one up. At competition we all hung out eating, laughing, and cheering each other on in calling, cueing, rounds and squares. Mysteries were such fun, we were laughing and having fun, even if we messed up. We cheered on our callers during displays, and we were so proud of them. I have never been so happy and relaxed during a competition, and I have never had the feeling that I had after our senior mystery. I now know what it means to be on cloud 9. And on friday night, since none of us can sleep untill late anyway, we have a party. This year we all brought our laptops, and painted Joey's toes. Played truth or dare, and practiced for the next day. I have always loved Competition, but this year was the most incredible year I have ever had the good fortune to be part of."
